Children do not have unsupervised access to the kitchen area.
Packed lunches brought from home should contain an ice pack to keep the food fresh as pre-school is unable to refrigerate lunch bags.
Children are encouraged to wash their hands before eating their lunch.
All tables are wiped down with an antibacterial spray before and after eating.
At least two members of staff at any one time are qualified in food hygiene.
A cleaning schedule is displayed and adhered to.
Food is not allowed to be swapped amongst the children due to allergies.
As part of enrollment, parents/carers must inform pre-school of any allergies their child may have.
Water is available at all times.
