Gardening & Nature Fridays

We end the week by getting green-fingered – teaching the children about nature and letting them get their hands dirty with a spot of planting!  From vegetables to flower seeds – the little ones love taking home their plant pots and watching them grow.

Our gardening and nature sessions encourage the children’s natural curiosity as well as helping them to understand cause and effect – for example learning that plants die without water and need sunlight to thrive.

By having fun with nature at a young age, we hopefully sow the seeds for a lifelong love and understanding of the outdoors.
