At Bamford Pre-school we believe that all children thrive in a happy, caring environment – we nurture little ones to help build their confidence, develop independence and encourage their inquisitive minds through play.

Activities and outdoor play…

We aim to make each day a fun and happy one for your child with an exciting schedule of daily activities, ranging from craft and baking to gardening and our very popular mud-kitchen!  Enjoying the outdoors is really important to us at Bamford Pre-school and we’re lucky enough to have our own secure enclosed outdoor play area, which we use daily, in all weathers!  Also, thanks to our close links with Bamford Primary, we regularly visit our neighbours for further outdoor fun.

Connecting with nature and learning about the environment is also something we’re passionate about, gardening with the children and our weekly welly walks provide the perfect opportunity for them to explore and learn about the outdoors.

Family focused…

We work closely with families and actively encourage feedback from parents, grandparents and carers to ensure that we are providing the best possible service and meeting their children’s needs. We always offer a warm welcome to any family member who has some free time and would like to help out during one of our sessions.

Each child as an individual…

At Bamford Pre-school each child is treated as an individual, once enrolled they are assigned a key person who is then responsible for supporting that child during their journey through pre-school.  We are also able to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
